Thankfully for , the music on his release was quality. Unfortunately, NPG Records never released any of the projects that were highlighted on the compilation, with the exception of the NPG album Goldnigga and George Clinton's Hey Man... Smell My Finger, both of which were previously released. There was one song on the album, a duet with the Marvin Gaye's daughter Nona "Lovesign." The single did relatively well considering it was competing with "Letitgo" from Come and the public was quite confused by the name change from Prince to and the debacle with Warner Brothers. There was no commercial single, though. Another single, "Standing At The Alter" performed by Margie Cox, was released in the UK with little success.
