As soon as Carmen Electra became a household name, by appearing on Baywatch and MTV's Singled Out, her debut album moved from the cheap used bargain bins to the expensive one. Then, it seemed more people purchased the album for her celebrity than the Prince connection.
Carmen Electra sounds as though Carmen rapped over outtakes from Prince's album  , the poor ones. There are few songs that are really strong on the fast paced album. Still, there are high points like "Get On Up," which is essentially a Prince song all the way through with Carmen guesting. The album's biggest problem is that Carmen is just not that talented as a rapper.
