Arguably, Jill Jones' debut album is one of the best projects Prince has ever worked on. Nearly every song on the album is a top notch Prince work and Jill Jones adds a certain charm to the material.
It comes as no surprise that most of the material dates back to the time Prince was working on 1999 and Purple Rain. That is because Jill Jones was a prominent background singer at this time, even appearing in the 1999 tour and the Purple Rain movie. There are some classic Prince tracks on the effort such as "G-Spot;" "All Day, All Night" and "Mia Bocca." Each are pop tracks with the best of what made Prince famous.
The album, however, did not do well commercially. Thus, the wonderful title is difficult to find, especially on compact disk. A second effort was planned, but shelved.
