"Manic Monday" may be the best known song of Prince's that another artist has done. The track, credited to Christopher Tracy, was a mega-hit for The Bangles in 1986, peaking at number two on the Billboard pop chart. Originally written for Apollonia 6, Prince chose to withhold the track from their self-titled album. In fact, members of Apollonia 6 can be heard in the background vocals of The Bangles' version. The album itself consists of fun pop tracks, including "Walk Like An Egyptian." The group disbanded in 1989.
