Title: Scotland On Sunday Review
Reviewed By: Damien Love
A note on the sleeve speaks volumes: 'This sevres as the last
original material recorded by 4 Warner Brothers Records.'
That'll be the contract satisfied then. While most of this is the
sort of stuff he can grumble out whilst having hsi teeth brushed
by a phalanx of stranely servile amazonians, it's worth remembering
that the dirt which collects between his toes is funkier than most
other performers' highest moments - and the title track, the Sign
O' The Times-era flavour to 'Dinner With Delores' and 'Right The
Wrong' are all well worth checking out. Importantly, this record
conatains the line 'You know how much I love you - more than I
love my hair'.
