"Good Love" holds the distinction of being one of two Prince songs officially released twice, albeit in two variations. The first track released twice was "4 The Tears In Your Eyes" which appeared on both The Hits & The B-Sides in 1993 and the USA For Africa soundtrack in 1985, also in two variations. "Good Love" also appears on 's 1998 Crystal Ball set, which consisted mainly of previously bootlegged material.
The track itself sounds like the 1988 era in which it was released. The song features a sped up vocal that is often referred to as Prince's Camille voice. In fact, prior to the release of Sign O' The Times in 1987 Prince made a test pressing of a Camille album, which reportedly included "Good Love" among other tracks.
